breast assymetry correction

At
Marin Aesthetics, we understand the importance of feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin. If you’re considering breast asymmetry correction, you’ve come to the right place. Our team of experienced plastic surgeons is dedicated to helping you achieve beautiful, balanced breasts that enhance your natural beauty.

Understanding Breast Asymmetry

Breast asymmetry is a common condition where one breast differs in size, shape, or position from the other. This can occur naturally or as a result of factors such as genetics, hormonal changes, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. While mild asymmetry is normal, significant differences between the breasts can cause self-consciousness and dissatisfaction with one’s appearance.

What is Breast Asymmetry Correction?

Breast asymmetry correction is a surgical procedure designed to address uneven breasts and create a more symmetrical appearance. Our skilled surgeon, Dr. Marin,  specializes in various techniques to tailor the procedure to your specific anatomic needs and goals.

Evaluation and Planning

During your initial consultation, Dr. Marin will conduct a thorough evaluation of your breasts to assess the extent of asymmetry and discuss your desired outcomes. We will work closely with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your concerns and achieves beautiful, natural-looking results.

Surgical Techniques

At Marin Aesthetics, we offer a range of surgical techniques for breast asymmetry correction, including:

  1. Breast Augmentation: If one breast is smaller than the other, breast augmentation using implants can restore balance and symmetry.
  2. Breast Reduction: If one breast is significantly larger than the other, breast reduction surgery can reduce the size and volume of the larger breast to match the smaller one.
  3. Breast Lift: For breasts with sagging or drooping, a breast lift can reshape and lift the breasts to achieve a more symmetrical appearance.
  4. Fat Transfer: In cases where asymmetry is mild, fat transfer techniques can be used to transfer fat from one area of the body to the breasts to achieve balance and symmetry.

Recovery and Results

Recovery from breast asymmetry correction will vary depending on the specific procedures performed. Our team will provide you with detailed post-operative instructions to help facilitate a smooth recovery process. While some discomfort and swelling are normal and expected, most patients can resume normal activities within a few weeks and enjoy long-lasting results that enhance their confidence and self-esteem.

TO OUR MARIN AESTHETICS PATIENTS:

In light of the state wide restrictions on non-essential businesses to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, we are rescheduling all of our elective appointments until the global circumstances improve. Our necessary post-operative appointments will be made, as needed, to address immediate surgical concerns such as suture removal and acute postoperative issues. All non-acute follow up appointments, fillers and Botox will need to be postponed until after the quarantine period mid April. Our office will reach out to all patients who need to be rescheduled.

We will be offering new patient virtual consultations online and via Skype that can be scheduled through our website or by emailing info@marinaesthetics.com. Also, we will offer follow-up appointments in the same manner to help manage our patients’ concerns while still respecting the need for social distancing.

We appreciate all of your understanding during these difficult times for all of us.
